The Nyaya Project

Every Child Deserves to Know Their Rights

We bring child rights education into government school classrooms across India — giving children the knowledge to understand, protect, and stand up for themselves.

Our Mission

Knowledge is the first form of protection.

The Nyaya Project teaches child rights to children in government schools across India. Through hands-on learning, we help kids understand the rights that belong to them — and empower them with the knowledge to protect themselves and speak up when it matters most.

Why It Matters

“A child who knows her rights knows she is not powerless. That knowledge changes what she believes is possible for her life.”

A Nyaya Project facilitator

For children growing up with the fewest safeguards, understanding their rights is often the difference between staying silent and asking for help. We believe every child deserves that understanding — early, clearly, and without exception.

Stand with the next child who needs to know.

Volunteer your time, support our work, or open your school’s doors. Every partnership reaches another classroom of children.
